These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Boundfire products and services, including Boundfire Bond and PuppyClicker (collectively, "the Services"). By using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any Boundfire Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Age Requirements

2.1 General Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use any Boundfire Service. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

2.2 PuppyClicker

PuppyClicker is designed for adults and involves features that may interact with physical devices (such as OpenShock). You must be 18 years or older and legally able to consent to such interactions in your jurisdiction.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 General Conduct

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal activities
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Share content involving minors in any capacity
  • Upload, share, or transmit content that is obscene, graphic, or violates community standards
  • Share content depicting non-consensual activities
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
  • Use the Services to transmit viruses or malicious code
  • Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

4.2 PuppyClicker Conduct

When using PuppyClicker, you additionally agree not to:

  • Send clicks, zaps, or other interactions to harass or harm others
  • Use OpenShock or other integrations in ways that could cause injury
  • Abuse the friend request system to spam or harass users
  • Configure REST API endpoints for malicious purposes
  • Circumvent safety limits or rate limiting features
  • Share your friend code with the intent to receive unsolicited interactions

5. Content and Privacy

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to our Services. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the Services.

5.2 Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We never sell your personal data. Your privacy is fundamental to our services, and we will never monetize your personal information by selling it to third parties.

5.3 Content Standards

All content must be consensual and legal. We maintain strict content moderation to ensure compliance with community guidelines. We prohibit content that:

  • Involves minors in any way, directly or indirectly
  • Is non-consensual or depicts harmful activities
  • Contains graphic sexual content or nudity
  • Promotes violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
  • Violates any laws or regulations
  • Contains hate speech or discriminatory content

6. Consent and Safety

6.1 Boundfire Bond

Boundfire Bond is designed for consensual adult relationships. All parties in a relationship must:

  • Provide informed consent to participate
  • Be able to withdraw consent at any time
  • Respect the boundaries and limits of other users

6.2 PuppyClicker

PuppyClicker involves interactions that may affect physical devices. By using PuppyClicker, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All connections require mutual friend approval before any interactions can be sent
  • You can block or remove friends at any time
  • Safety limits (intensity, duration) must be configured and respected
  • OpenShock integration requires your explicit device configuration
  • You are responsible for ensuring all recipients have consented to receive interactions
  • Rate limiting exists to prevent spam and you must not attempt to circumvent it

7. Premium Services

7.1 Boundfire Bond Premium

Boundfire Bond offers premium subscription tiers (Plus and Premium). By purchasing a subscription:

  • You authorize us to charge your payment method
  • You understand that subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Refunds are subject to our refund policy and app store terms

7.2 PuppyClicker Premium

PuppyClicker may offer premium features in the future. Any premium features will be subject to the same terms as Boundfire Bond premium services.

8. Third-Party Integrations

8.1 OpenShock

PuppyClicker integrates with OpenShock for shock, vibration, and sound features. Your use of OpenShock through our Services is subject to OpenShock's terms and policies. We are not responsible for OpenShock device functionality or any injuries resulting from device use.

8.2 Custom REST API Endpoints

PuppyClicker allows configuration of custom REST API endpoints. You are solely responsible for:

  • The security and functionality of your configured endpoints
  • Ensuring endpoints do not perform harmful or illegal actions
  • Any consequences resulting from your custom endpoint configurations

9. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content (excluding user content) are and will remain the exclusive property of Boundfire and its licensors. The Services are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

For PuppyClicker specifically, we make no warranties regarding the reliability or safety of third-party integrations including OpenShock devices or custom REST API endpoints.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boundfire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Services. This includes, but is not limited to, any physical injury or device malfunction resulting from use of PuppyClicker integrations.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boundfire from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services, including any claims arising from your use of OpenShock or custom REST API integrations.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Boundfire operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes. Your continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. App Store Compliance

16.1 Apple App Store

If you downloaded any Boundfire app from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service and Usage Rules.

16.2 Google Play Store

If you downloaded any Boundfire app from Google Play, your use is also subject to Google Play's Terms of Service.
