Delete My Account

We're sorry to see you go. If you wish to delete your Boundfire account, you have two options:

Option 1: Delete from the App

1. Open the Boundfire app on your device
2. Navigate to Profile (bottom right tab)
3. Scroll down to the Danger Zone section
4. Tap Delete Account
5. Follow the confirmation prompts to permanently delete your account

Option 2: Email Request

If you're unable to access the app, you can request account deletion via email:

1. Send an email FROM the email address associated with your account to info@boundfire.com
2. Include "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line
3. We will respond within 7 business days to confirm your identity
4. Once we receive your confirmation response, we will permanently delete your account

What happens when you delete your account?

Your Personal Data

• All personal data belonging to you alone will be permanently deleted
• Your profile information, preferences, and account details will be removed
• Your individual journal entries and personal notes will be deleted
• This action cannot be undone

Relationships and Shared Data

• Relationships will be stripped of your personal information and linking data
• Your name, profile details, and identifying information will be removed from the relationship
• Shared data (messages, tasks, photos) will remain accessible to your partner unless they also delete their account
• If both parties delete their accounts, the relationship and all shared data will be permanently deleted

Removing Shared Data

If you want shared relationship data to be completely deleted, you have two options:

• End the relationship first: Both users end the relationship within the app before deleting accounts
• Coordinate deletion: Both users delete their accounts, which will permanently delete all relationship data
